How do I create a booking from the backoffice?

WebReserv allows you to easily create a booking in the system if you have a walk-in or phone reservation.  Plus, since the system is real time availability, bookings you make through the backoffice system, will automatically update on the online booking calendar.

To make a booking through the backoffice, navigate to Frontdesk - New Reservation.



On this page, you can fill out all the reservation details for the booking, including:

  • The Product
  • The Unit selection (if applicable)
  • Date and Time (if applicable)
  • Unit or person count (if applicable)

Note: Use the Show Availability button to check if dates/times are available.

Select the Recalculate button below the Rate Details to show the pricing.

Next, enter the Customer Information.  Include any discount or gift cards codes in this section.  

Then, enter Payment Information and Customer Comments.

Note: Customer Comments entered here will be shown to the customer in the Confirmation Email they received after the booking is made.

If you have add-ons or additional questions, you can add these options in the Additional reservation requests.

Once you're satisfied with all the booking details, you can select Confirm Reservation at the bottom of the page.  You also have the option to Save as pending which would allow you block the availability, but wait until you gather more details before confirming the reservation.

A successful booking will assign a Reservation Code (WRSA-) to the booking, and show the message at the top of the page that the booking is confirmed and an email will be sent to the customer.

Pro Tip! Backoffice bookings allow you to override many of the required fields and reservation rules that are set in the system.  This means that you can enter a booking here without adding all the required customer information, and still make the booking.  It gives you as the business more flexibility in managing your reservations.
